Absolutely not! Payment Link is designed for non-technical people and non-financial people. It is easy to use and the learning curve is very little. Once you've signed up, completed the Stripe onboarding - you'll send your first payment form in less than a few minutes.

Yes we have a 30 day free trial. When you sign up you get to use all of Payment Links features and then at the end of the 30 days, you can choose the plan that suits you. 

No, Payment Link is not an accounting software. It’s a simple tool that lets you collect payments by sharing a link.

It doesn’t handle full accounting features like expense tracking or financial reporting.

Stripe is one of the worlds largest payment gateways that power a big percentage of the checkouts on the internet. 

Payment Link is built on top of Stripe technology.

In order to use Payment Link you will need to have a Stripe account. You can connect your existing Stripe account or create a new Stripe account directly inside Payment Link after onboarding. 

No! we do not charge any percentage on transactions. Payment Link wants to encourage and help support you by making it easy as possible for you to take payment. All you pay is the monthly fee.

The only percentage you pay is to Stripe who is the merchant provider you'll use to facilitate payments from your customers to your bank account. Every merchant provider in the world will charge a small fee, so this is not unique to Stripe. 

Yes! You can customise your payment pages, e-commerce store and email templates to match your brand perfectly!

To subscribe to Payment Link, Stripe must support your country and currency. However, your customers can be anywhere in the world.

No - that's the great thing about Payment Link, you don't need traditional merchant accounts with banks or any physical card terminals. 

You need a Stripe account which is the payment gateway Payment Link uses. You can connect your own Stripe account or create a new one during onboarding. 

There are 4 ways you can take payment from your customers with Payment Link

(1) Create a payment form by adding the description and amount and send to your customer via email, WhatsApp, SMS or any other messaging platform.

(2) Send Customers to your Payment Page where they can add the amount and make payment. Great for regular customers or invoice payments - or when you don't have time to create a payment form manually.

(3) By visiting your mini e-commerce store where you can add fixed price products that users can click and pay.

(4) Take in person payments using a QR code. Show your QR code to anyone for face-to-face payments. They scan on their phone and enter the amount and make payment.

You don't have to use all the features available. It's all there at no extra cost. Use what you want when you want.

If you take any credit or debit cards whether using a physical terminal or e-commerce/online checkout, card issuing companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express charge a fee. This is unavoidable and the same rules apply globally. 

Payment Link is built on top of Stripe and any transactions will cost you a small percentage depending on your country. See here for pricing in your country https://stripe.com/pricing. Rates are between 1.5%-2.5% typically with a fixed charge circa $0.30 per transaction. 

For example if you are in the UK, and a customer paid you £100 using a standard credit card, Stripe will charge you just £1.70. This is automatically deducted and the balance is sent to your bank account.

This is excluding your Payment Link subscription. 

Payment Link works on top of Stripe which is one of the worlds leading online payment gateways. No physical card machine is needed. All payment is done via a web browser on any desktop, tablet or mobile device. 

If you have an existing Stripe account you can link that, or create a Stripe account inside the Payment Link dashboard during sign up.

Stripe will automatically transfer any payments to your bank account. You'll add your bank account during onboarding with Stripe.
